That's a stereotype if I ever heard one, it is like saying every black man is naturally gifted with a big penis.

My aunt was telling me she thinks that Marc Anthony is just riding on her career, since he's not doing anything musically right now. What do you guys think about that?

I think Marc Anthony is infinitely more gifted vocally and musically. I'm not a fan of J-LO or Marc Anthony, but hes far more gifted then her.

That is not even true.

Marc Anthony has been doing Spanish only albums for the past few years and that's what he's been focusing mainly. Just because you don't hear him stateside doesn't mean he's not doing anything musically.

i pretty much agree that Marc Anthony is really gifted, vocally. i mean when i heard him sing live on American Idol, for the first time, man got some pipes.!

it's okay but let your aunt know that they are both equal parts of that marriage and neither one is riding the others career.

She can think what she wants, I was just starting a conversation.
And I'm sure that at this point, J Lo is making more than Marc Anthony. Regardless of how recent his album came out, she's all up in the news lately, and she was a judge.
And I love Marc Anthony with all of my heart, I'm just playing devil's advocate.

We can't really say whether or not one is riding on the other's career for sure. We can say how we feel about it, though, and that's what I was looking to have a conversation about.

Yes, she is getting more exposure than him so it would appear that way.

She's also going to be a judge on another show with him but they are going to latin american countries to find the next big star/singer for their show.
