I honestly dont get people like yourself(s) mentality towards music. I have a friend that is a talented musicion, likes good music typically but all he listens to now and talks about are ****ty acts like this just so he can be like "WOW THIS IS AWSOME! WINKWINK".

So many people like yourself have taken this same reaction that it would appear you actually truly like and enjoy/respect this trash and that it is no longer just a joke to you.

My question is, do these people do it to feel better about themselves? or do they truly enjoy the lack of substances in the music and perfer a purely generic topic that relates to everyone. I get listening and dancing to **** like this at a club but when you go out and buy it??? What the **** are you getting out of that other than looking like an idiot to the salesman at the store.

I'm pretty sure I looked like an idiot when I bought Kevin Federline's album but I didn't care.

I'm not going to speak for the person that you quoted but people enjoy what they enjoy and if they want to pay for it then so be it.

You may think they look like an idiot but they don't care or they mind looking like one while purchasing an album that is going to get a lot of play in their car or w/e.

I don't get why you have to look down on people for liking what they like.

They really wouldn't buy it if they don't like the music and think about it, the song got more than 10 million views on youtube. That means that there MUST be a lot of people who really like the song. How could justin bieber get more than 100 million views that if nobody liked his music.

Actually a lot of those views are from people who HATE those songs and just want to laugh at their ****tiness. You don't really think all those views for Friday are from people who actually like the song do you?

I only look down on them because they affect all musicians. Liking Rebecca Black means not listening to a much more credible artist.

listening to a more credible artist doesn't mean they will like said credible artist enough to go buy their cd which said credible artist doesn't make much off of anyways.

I thought it was common knowledge that shows and merchandise were better for the artist.

anyday would be great for as long as she retains the level of child-like artistry she exhibited on friday.
