I must say guys, I don't think much of Avril's Music, but come on, don't act so childish.
If you hadn't replied at all, the message would have been clear too. Why bother replying if all you do is make someone feel bad?

I think she is fine for pop music. But she needs to know her limits, when she attempted a Coldplay cover at live lounge, it was really just embarrassing.

And to say she does not try to play on her sexuality is just wrong.

Generally speaking, I enjoy Avril Lavigne's music. Though I didn't think that much of "The Best Damn Thing". I much preferred her first two albums and I don't think she's that much chop live. But yes, I don't mind her music.

Yeah bro, because Coldplay is a musically credible sacred cow and not a pop group. I do find it kind of annoying people are getting annoyed with all Avril's covers, of pretty meh groups, but when Lady Gaga covers Neil Young and changes all the words no one really cares. At least Avril has good covers to her name, for instance her version of Knocking On Heaven's Door kicks the shit out of Bob Dylan and Guns and Roses.

I thought her cover of Metallica's "Fuel" was pretty good:

? I am not a big Coldplay fan at all, nor did I at all put them on any sort of pedestal but her cover was pretty bad. I think if she grew up and didn't try to ride this little punk princess stuff, she would make some pretty good music.

I don't even care, that was great. That was one of the best things I've heard since I turned off the Lovage song I was listening to right when this video finished loaded. A+ for effort, Avril.
