Default Kajagoogoo

Hello all,

This is my first post but I wanted to start out with something that probably has not been discussed. Do any Music Banter members remember the 80's group Kajagoogoo? I was a fan 'back in the day' and saw them on the reunion tour on three occasions in 2009, as well as in 1983. What I am trying to find out is this - what do you all think of the band? Any fans out there? Does anybody have anything good to add to the thread? Nick Beggs is one heck of a bass player if nothing else...

For more information or to get up to date with the band, check out the official site or a great fansite called KAJAFAX.co.uk which seems to be updated daily

Hoping for some response on this thread!

I like Kajagoogoo but Limahl's voice still is a bit unnerving when he did the theme to "Neverending Story". It just is so..high.

I listen to them once in while. good band, they were forgotten as soon as the 80s were over, definently underrated.

I'm not into the music, and I have heard all three of their 80's albums (Used albums bins were my source), but those words I can agree with. The only reason why I can remember any of their songs beyond the chorus. He's right up there with Mark King of Level 42 in the Great Bass Players in Bands I Don't Listen To.
