It's not JUST playing an instrument. It's being able to compose interesting new material. It's being able to coordinate with other musicians. I bet you ten million dollars you can search on youtube immediately and find unheard ofs who can sing and dance better than Bieber.

Case in point, Where the **** is this kid's AMA?:

I think you sound silly. There are millions of people more talented than him.
There are people more talented than Beyonce. More talented than any of your favourite bands. There's always going to be someone better than someone else so comparisons are stupid.
And kind of annoying.

Not if your original point was that "nobody respects Bieber's talent". If there's a million people more talented who I've never heard of, why should I respect anything for this flagrantly annoyingly overexposed kid?

Besides, my favorite band is Magma. They are relatively unheard of now, as they were back in their day. They are known for having exceptional technical virtuosity, and an amazing amount of creative ingenuity plus they seamlessly interweave a countless number of genres/time periods of music without resorting to doing so in a sloppy jump-cut way. You'd be very VERY hard pressed to find a group/ensemble that's better. They're out there, but there are not a million groups of people who can compare.

Albeit, I do have to confess, they really can't dance.

Well I mean each person. There are usually more talented people, though. I don't know. The reason people like Justin Bieber is because he's singing the type of music that's most popular, and he's singing it well. I don't understand what everyone's deal is with that. If he's a good pop singer, then he's a good pop singer. Of course there are more talented people out there, they just happen not to be famous. It's the same thing with models, there are a million people more beautiful and good-looking than them, but they're the ones that have the job.
It's just the way the world goes. Tough ****.

Hmmm, Justin Bieber can sing pop music really well, he's good looking, young, and can dance, and handles himself maturely in interviews and tv shows for his age.

Oh man why is he famous!!! I can't figure it out!!!

I'm not the one complaining. I'm the one who wants to lay down the verbal abuse! I don't care if he's famous, I just want the right to tear him a new one at liberty without people going "yeah, but you shouldn't be tearing into him, you should be respecting his talent". **** that.

Well hell go all out on your verbal abuse. Just know that I think you sound like a complete moron when you say things like freshman drama students all over the country are more talented.

I don't think freshman drama students are necessarily untalented. They're learning the basics of music, and theater, which could establish them as much more legit musicians, and performers in the long run.

Chameleoning the popular style, a style that is intentionally made easy so the more aesthetic aspects of the performer can be focused on, deserves worlds less respect than kids who are working hard, having fun, and setting themselves on a life path which could allow them to explore the deeper portions of art through faucets of traditional education.

So no, it's not moronic at all. You just missed my point.
