NSync
What do you guys think about NSync? Was Justin Timberlake better before or after he was on that band?
|
Well, his career certainly skyrocketed after they broke up... 8 years ago.
|
I ****in love JTimb, I would hit it like a meteor, LIKE A METEOR
|
I was not an 'N Sync fan but I did find myself singing along to a few songs.
I think that JT going solo was the best thing for him. He was able to exert more creative control in his music and image (and it obviously worked for him). |
I personally liked O-Town
|
bsb were cool for a while then nsync really hit their full stride and it was over.

Guilty pleasure music at it's finest. I personally like the Backstreet Boys better though.
|
Honestly, all the catchy boy band songs I remember from the 90s are from Backstreet Boys. With the exception of Bye Bye Bye by N-Sync. I'm pretty happy that phase of music is dead and hopefully buried.
LFO ALL THE WAY! |
Maybe it's just because i was a twelve year old girl in their hey-day, and i had posters of each member hanging up in my room but i still love 'Nsync although you'd have to twist my arm to get me to admit this in front of people in real life
|
Backstreet Boys >>>>>>>>>> N'Sync
|
I was definitely an N'Sync fan over BSB. I think that JT got a great start with them and has carried himself rather gracefully into a solo artist. His career has seemed to remain pretty consistant throughout the years, all the while managing to steer clear of all that publicity drama.

I miss those days were the music scene was dominated by pop boy/girl bands (Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, Westlife, A1, Destiny's Child, Spice Girls, All Saints, Five, etc.). They make 'real' music that is entertaining for the majority of the people in this world. Now, all we see are ho*s and black rappers talk about drugs and their gangs, rock artist with stupid looking hairdos and songs that only talks about heartbreaks, and of course, wanna be divas trying to reach every single musical note there is just to prove they can do it...yes Christina Aguilera, i'm talking to you!!!

I personally really like Nsync. They were one of the boy bands I listened to as a kid, along with 98 degrees, Backstreet Boys, and a few other artists. I think Backstreet Boys were better though, and they are great in concert. Justin Timberlake is also a great artist on his own.

Seriously, you've been here for a while but now you've said that I really am wondering again if you're not a troll :D Music doesn't get less real than that. Literally. |

You seem more interested in what format something is on than the music that's actually on it. I bet if someone offered you master tapes of all those bands you'll be all over it like a rash. |
rofl boys 2 men mastertapes

I reckon you haven't clicked the link beneath my name yet. It's not like I only listen to audio. Now playing Sublime - Smoke two joints from a CD. Sounds like crap. Still enjoying it. No, it's all about the music in the end. That. And there's no mastertapes of those bands. All digital. Cheap 'n easy. |

Doesn't this belong in the indie section?
|
I personally like NSYNC and BSB, all though I think BSB is better. As for JT he is a better artist solo, NSYNC cramped his style when you compare it to what he does now. I'd say his music his more artistic, progressive, and risky compared to the box NSYNC was in.
