Incomplete it's still much better than most anything out. There isn't a whole lot missing anyway, just ends of songs here and there.

The Beatles. Definitely. The Beach Boys had some really cool songs, but The Beatles were way ahead of their time period and they made the first psychedelic pop album. MILLIONS of fans can't be wrong.

Gotta remember though, if it wasn't for Pet Sounds, there may have never been a Sgt Pepper. Pet Sounds came out a full year before Sgt. pepper and Paul has stated repeatedly that it was a direct influence and a real prod for the Beatles to up their game. Pet Sounds might not be overtly psychedelic but it's still a pretty trippy record...I have to say too, as much as I love the Beatles, Sgt. Pepper is probably my least favorite record of theirs. I still listen to Pet Sounds all the time.
