I'm still of the opinion that this particular synth-pop debut is criminally underrated, especially in retrospect. :hphones:

A little of my favorites are:

Erasure - A Little Respect
Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels
A-Ha - Take on Me

You can record as a lot of as you desire. I'm put jointly a music details nighttime and I desire to use all synth explode songs as of the 80s.

I came across these guys a while ago. I really like their music. Some people think they're one of the best Synth groups ever, while others are of the opinion they wrote complete garbage. Either way, I think their sound is nice. Really geeky, too, without even trying. That kind of charm is hard to come by.

Other than that, I enjoy a lot of things that were already mentioned. Propaganda, Naked Eyes, and Yazoo being my all-time favorites.

I gotta go with Ultravox - the last album they did with John Foxx, 'Systems of Romance' was probably one of the first synth pop albums and still sounds terrific and the first album they did with Midge Ure, 'Vienna' was just hugely influential on the whole genre.

Also props to John Foxx first solo album, 'Metamatic', a little on the weirder side of synth pop, but such a good album, and again, really holds up today.

U-vox recorded a new album, called modestly 'brilliant'. The snippets sound promising. A welcome return to their heydays (rage in eden).

I am surprised that Ultravox is still touring..but then they are a great band. I always thought "Hymn" was one of their best..but then so did most I guess.

Blancmange was another good band from this era. I chose this video because of the bellydancing (would be a fun song for a routine).

My choice is Depeche Mode and The Buggles
