P-Model with Susumu Hirasawa. Their eighties output was incredible.

That song was very popular in its day, as Houston was herself. One of the best female vocalist of that particular era. She was a very powerful vocalist.

Its sad if the story is true that she has fallen into cocaine addiction.

Ahhhh, yes. It's a tragedy what happened to Whitney. Incredible voice.

Everyone should have a cache of this stuff to dip into. Terrific time, the 80s.

Unusual record for Be Bop Deluxe as they got on the band wagon and made a synth pop record

Thomas Dolby just doesn't get enough respect. The great follow up single to "She Blinded Me With Science"

I only like a couple of Thompson Twin songs, and they're only from the "Quick Step And Side Kick" album.

I never liked West End Girls, it just sounded too smoothed over and simple sounding. I did like some different Thompson Twins songs to almauro though. You Take Me Up was definitely a favourite as was probably Hold Me Now, good catchy punchy melodies. And I really like Doctor Doctor now as well, probably didn't know that one so well at the time.

I only recently "discovered" THE MOTELS.

Amazing early 80's pop right there.
