Like all great young performers he has a chance to become one of the great but remember Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. He has to pick one.

someonecompletelyrandom 02-26-2010 10:57 AM

What is there to think about? Justin is clearly the most talented, inspired and artistic singer/songwriter of our generation. And the fact that he collaborates with the equally genius and highly experimental Usher only makes it better.

... for me to poop on.

IWP 02-26-2010 12:59 PM

Remember that early 60s teen idol pop music? Yeah it's back, unfortenately. Justin Bieber (what a stupid name, btw) is basically today's Frankie Avalon or Fabian. In other words he's a no talented douche that 16 year old girls love because he's "cute".

Sincerely Yours 03-08-2010 01:44 AM

I kind of really sincerely dislike him. As a whole. Music, personality and looks aaaaall included.

channel_islands_surf 03-13-2010 06:20 AM

This punk is living it up for a couple years, and wait till he's got no money left. Have fun with it while ya can kid! Because puberty's creepin!

scottsy 03-13-2010 06:52 PM

I thought I heard someone whispering "washed up child star" in my ear...

I've read about child stars who grow up to be not so sweet and cute. Their careers have burned out and they've spent the rest of their money on an expensive car and drugs. Then everything starts to speed further downhill when the funds run out.

Meph1986 03-13-2010 09:11 PM

Just another young pop star really. What else is new?

scottsy 03-13-2010 09:44 PM

Although watching him try to ditch the squeeky clean image in a few years will be kinda hilarious...

TheBig3 03-13-2010 09:46 PM

Hey just an FYI, but you guys know you sound like a miserable bunch of jealous ****s, yeah?

scottsy 03-13-2010 09:48 PM

Who say's i'm not... hehehehe...

I'm jealous. But within a few years, when he's broke, my jealousy will fade away! Anyway, what is the kid from Tennessee or something? Ohio? Whatever. I'd rather be broke in Cali than whatever bland joint this kid's from.

He's from Stratford, Ontario - a small town with about 30K people.

Stone Birds 03-14-2010 01:58 PM

i don't pay attention to him much but i heard a joke about him:

What will happen when Justin Beiber dies?

There'll be one less lonely girl

if you didn't get it, you need to think a little harder

scottsy 03-14-2010 02:37 PM

buh dum tish!

Actually not a bad joke all things considered...

scottsy 03-14-2010 03:47 PM

Yesh, he's all rather young, nevertheless he is insanely popular at present. In all seriousness that must really be hard to comprehend if you are only a kid of that age and suddenly you are thrust into the limelight and the world of big money and fame... from a totally human perspective, i hope he comes out of it ok, I hate to see anyone's life turn shitty...

TumorAttitude 03-14-2010 05:40 PM

Whats the name of that 70s teen star that was shirtless on the cover of Rolling Stone? Then inside he talked about how much he hated fame, fucked some random girls and did some coke? His career shriveled up the way he wanted it to. I picture that for Justin.

James 03-21-2010 11:26 AM

It's funny because he has gave my friends someone to hate they are always talking about how much he sucks and he's whats wrong with music. They listen to Blink-182, Green Day and Owl City. I was like he may be crap but at least he won't be remembered unlike the **** you listen to which we'll have to put up with for years.

Stone Birds 03-22-2010 04:14 PM

green day didn't truly get crapy until their more recent work, but they are overplayed

James 03-23-2010 03:25 PM

I agree Dookie and Insomniac are ok. I just despise there latest stuff.

that's 'Lovefool' by the Cardigans, and no you probably didn't take that last line the wrong way. the song is about fooling yourself into thinking sex = love. so 'oh how you do me' really is about how one is getting done in the sack. as sung by a 12 year old boy.... yeah... i feel gross just typing that.

gogojessicat 03-23-2010 07:54 PM

eww justin bleiber blows. i wish the record companies would stop pushing crap music on us. gosh.

but really, have you noticed how they are advertising to younger and younger audiences? its getting creepy. leave the kids alone! they're innocent! - or they were before the advertisers got to them... :(

Idioteque 03-24-2010 12:29 AM

We have a contest at work that customers can enter to try and win a one on one phone call with him.....

Enough said.

Stone Birds 03-24-2010 06:43 AM

what kind of conversation would someone have with justin biber?

Girl (or *** guy): AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
jb: hi
Girl (or *** guy): omg, (jibber, jibber jabber x4)
jb (talking to manager): i need a new cell phone this one's being stalked.

also don't ruin my joke with common sense like the fact they wouldn't use his cell phone

hes all grown up now. but i'm sure if he's still making music it still sucks.

scottsy 03-24-2010 03:36 PM

I heard his little cover of that cardigans song and I kinda felt like whoever produced it / told him to sing it was somewhat missing the point big time...

It would probably be like a recording of his voice or some random kid that sounds like him I think. Ps they probably wouldn`t use a cell phone :)

Jeeze, people are so touchy

Stone Birds 03-25-2010 06:40 AM

you thought i was serious... hahaha
i really didn't care whether or not someone ruined the (really bad not funny) joke i made, don't always take me seriously when i'm insulting something

Biff_Wellington 03-25-2010 09:43 AM

Justin Beiber's good, that song "SexyBack" a few years ago was catchy.

This is what I think about pop and rap music. You get someone with a decent voice, good looks, you throw them in a video, make them sing about wanting some girl, you add a couple of cheesy dance moves, a couple of girls, and you become a millionaire. Where as in rock you get someone with a great voice, not so good looking but doesn't matter, cause they could stand just on their music.

For the most part I agree. Popular music has always mostly been about image. It is not common for these poster boy 'artists' to actually write their own songs. To answer the question, I don't like his music at all, but it must be sweet being a kid and having tons of cash, good looks, drooling girls, and most of all, having music all over the radio and TV. Im jealous since I feel I can make ten times better music but still have to work 60+ hours a week to support a family.

I feel your pain. If only all the unsigned musicians with true talent could get a chance. But then again, who said life was fair?
