Rolling Stone seems to be toting The Jonas Brothers as "the NUUU BEATLEZZZ".
If I were to compare them to anyone, it would be the Bee Jees, because of the relation between members, the harmonizing, the (at least starting out for the JBs) fanbase of pubescent girls, the mock factor, and the shared initials with blow job. When you talk about a song that gets massive airway, is sung on the playgroud by kindergarteners, has massive popularity amoungst youth, is somewhat vulgar, and has a not-so-outright meaning, I immediately think of "OPP". But I guess The Beatles did that too, eh? |

This one by Tears For Fears always reminded me of the style of the Beatles, (music & lyrics). Especially the change up later on in the song. To me, it would seem alot easier to find a song (only), where you may hear a big influence by the Beatles. But, its all in fun trying to see who others pick to inherit the Beatles throne. nobody will take the Beatles throne, there can only be one band that has that kind of impact and it's a combination of their talent and the fact they did it first. Wondering who will take their place is like wondering which fast food chain will top McDonald's in marketing/sales. Nobody, ever.
