Well since you made an immediate judgement about one of the few guys I respect regarding their music tastes and their opinions generally regarding music on here without knowing who they are or what they are about, I think I will pass.

alright, after reading through this thread i have to agree with the Barenaked Ladies nod. personally i prefer Sloan but i don't think they got that big outside of Canada.
Fastball was a decent one hit wonder back in the day as well, and while they're probably still going at it, few people are hearing it. The Starlight Mints would be a good fit for the 'throne' as well, if they could get a break. Blur anyone? as for the Chili Peppers in terms of this thread. WTF? their sound is maturing??? seems to me it's been adult contemporary drek for a decade, and i was the kind of fan who would wear a sock as a haloween costume. and Switchfoot sucks, it's like Coldplay replaced the piano with a guitar player who only ever learned U2 songs. |
