Yesterday I was listening to this, and someone put my earphone and exclaimed that it sounded scarily similar to TiK ToK.
I wasn't pleased. |
I can't listen at work but with music like this, doesn't it sounds all the same anyway. Its not like I'd listen for the differences in movements.
I don't know who Uffie is, but this ke$ha kid has freckles, is a blonde, and wears chucks. I might be in love. |
 I didn't mean the beats, just the singing style is very very similar. Still like the song, it's just another confusion for me :(.
Uffie is only the singer btw. The tune is Justice  |
Ok now that I can listen to this song, I'd have to say that yes its very similar but this "style" isn't what I like about the OP song. Ke$ha tends to employ an whiteness level not seen since elvis costellos outfit. And by that I mean its by design.
What I hear in this justice song is a level of ironic hipster whiteness. Its hedging its bets. In one breath it says its white so it shouldn't be held to the same standard, but it then employs a very directed, and serious effort to convince people that this is in fact legitimate party music. What I don't like about the Justice song that I do about the Ke$ha song is that there seems to be an unabashed social reality to Ke$ha. I think more people conduct themself as she does in her song, as opposed to what Justice has here that in literally imitating imitators. You can imagine the justice woman dressing like a retro-fit scene kid. I imagine Ke$ha to look like Paris Hilton. In the world of pop only one's being honest, and it doesn't compromise anything. |

This is Uffie btw. I found it hard to get a decent picture of her without her tits out. http://img28.xooimage.com/files/3/b/6/uffie-56bce0.jpg I do like kesha's song. It's just getting a little old now. The pub I drink in people pick it over and over and over and over on the jukebox. It gets tiring. :( |
I can't stop being surprised at how much white trash Great Britain actually has. Makes me reconsider about wanting to live there.
|
 I would try and argue this one out. But it's sort of true. In cities anyways up here.

>.> I didn't think Uffie would sound like that.
It is scarily similar. |
