1. The progression of her songwriting abilities. 2. Your level of interest in her progression (in this regard). In short, I don't give a **** how little you care about her songwriting abilities. But if you meant that as a non-subjective, universal comment (your original post) then, yes, her songwriting ability has progressed and it does matter. I assume its a collaborative effort, but she herself is at least opting for music with more song-craft than was on Animal or Cannibal. To that end, I think she brings her style to more sophisticated music, and thats what I really enjoy. She seems to have a similar mentality to AC/DC in that "sure, you can be fancy, but that isn't very fun." Ke$ha has a place in my music collection because she gets it. Theres a whole lot of people posting for the covers of magazines and making ambient, boring, bull**** music. Meanwhile, she rolls around in glitter before a show, writes some killer hooks, and has a dancing penis on stage. She's not looking to get inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame, but she might because she isn't looking to blow your mind aurally. She's just looking to write tunes that might actually get you laid. On her behalf, you're welcome.

I've somehow gotten roped into agreeing to see her next month in California. Honestly it's a little uncanny because before yesterday I had never really heard a Kesha song before. I didn't particularly care for the song she did with Iggy Pop because I'm not into that kind of music, but I can at least understand why it would be popular.
I'm treating this more like an anthropological expedition and I have to say I'm genuinely interested in what I can conclude from the data I gather. |

Haha, I'm interested in finding out if she can sing live or whether its enhanced or taped. Both of you will need to bring back full reports of the show.

When she's jumping around and being hyper on her faster songs you get audio like the one that was posted earlier. As far as her songwriting abilities go. The end of Warrior is where it's at and I ended up enjoying that a bit more than the first half of the album Crazy Kids is just plain fun though. She split Warrior into two her more fun type tracks at the start then it tapers off to showcase her singing ability more.

No I haven't seen her show to compare it too. I'm mostly basing my claims off of live videos that I have watched on youtube.

Okay, I can't say I've bothered to look at them because I'm personally not that worried about listening to her but good on you!
