I watched that performance, and the audience were DEAD. She even shot a brief but clear look at her manager, as if to say ''get me the **** outta here''. Singing an overproduced electro song off key with juvenile theatrics was NOT a good idea, and I wouldn't be surprsied if her career fizzles out after this album. She's this years Mandy Moore.

I reeeeeeealy don't like kesha - she just sounds like yet another druggie singing about clubs, drinking and being a slut. And her songs are infuriatingly catchy!! I do give her credit for that, but it's really not to my taste.

It's absolute crap. Kesha is absolute crap. This is from the Wikipedia for "Tik Tok":

She is everything wrong with the music scene today. My parents grew up on the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. My sister is growing up on Kesha and Lady Gaga. |

First of all RCVA, When the Beatles were popular, they were the same thing then as Gaga is now. Adjusting for time and culture, they almost are the same thing. Zeppelin wasn't wildly popular until their 4th album so unless you're parents were digging for music (which people can still do today) or they were late in the game (which kids still do today...nirvana maybe) then I don't see how now is any different than then except we don't have 40 years to investigate "now." I'm sure your grandkids will look back and go "I have all this bull**** pop to listen to. Gramps had Vampire Weekend, Mastodon, MF Doom, Josh Ritter, and Gorillaz"

That's not the point he was making. And the people of today are free to listen to Zep over Ke$ha if they wish, nobody is forcing anyone to do otherwise. The Beatles are so iconic at this stage that nobody, young or old, is ignorant of them. Listen to her if you like her music, ignore her if you don't. Simple as.
