The people that talk about how much of a dumbass Ke$ha is don't understand that she's making fun of the white trash party girl stereotype thing. I don't know if she's like that IRL. I could honestly not give a fuck. This song is fantastic and I can't get over it. Its really good, catchy, brilliant commercial fucking pop music. I love it I love it I love it and its corporate as hell and soulless and ridiculous and IDGAF.

Ah see, now you're talking. People with integrity die alone with cats and a public library card.

You're both blind. I'd obliterate her.

Having integrity=/=liking a popular song?
You're such a hipster.

Goblin Tears 03-08-2011 04:49 PM

I love Tumor's passion for modern pop. Imo, it's a genre that is rarely judged by its merits on this forum. Those who condemn it here are often the ones who prioritise image over actual output.

Dear Kesha (Ke$ha...or whatever),

Your lyrics sound like they were written by a 5 year old girl. A precocious 5 year old girl....but a wee tot nonetheless. Really...rhyming "swagger" and "Mick Jagger"? "mess with us" and "Neck-a-luss-us"?

Yet I still find myself shamelessly addicted to your brand of mind-numbing, body-shaking club pop. In fact, I've choreographed a dance I can perform in my car while listening to "We R Who We R".

I'm going to go put on your CD and lay on a bed of nails now.

Love always,
Sarah

Incorrect. First of all, you would cower in the presence of my $13 corduroy suit coat and my radiance of irony.

Secondly, people who pursue "integrity" often tend to chase their own tails down unraveling paths of logic. Its where the sidewalk ends. You have to become the thought police to stay on this path. But you can't because old age with sap the venom out of even the most fervent elitist.

ReadyWhenCalled 03-13-2011 06:32 PM

haha, I thought it was going to be a remake.. Still pretty cool

I have no idea what you're going on about but you're like 30 and you're still a pretty feverent elitist so I think your theory is null. Nice try though.
Stay gold ponyboy, etc. etc.

I think this is a personal attack and she ought to be banned. Is there even a redeeming feature to her on these forums?

Queen Boo 03-13-2011 11:28 PM

I wrote up a big reply to that then realized........IDGAF.
I'm sorry for interrupting the super important discussion that was going on about Ke$ha by calling Big3 an elitist.

not bad.

I wasn't aware that there were loads of Ke$ha rock remixes. I will have to look into some others.

Deathhawk 04-08-2011 12:41 AM

I don't get the hate this girl gets: it's just fun, catchy music. It's in no way deep, but it sure is fun.

Scissorman 04-08-2011 08:07 AM

I actually pretty much like Ke$ha :D Not so much her music as her as a character xD

laurablakney82888 08-13-2012 06:41 AM

she's interesting... which I like. Some of her songs are good, some are just plain weird... Cannibal, anyone?? lol. Her obsession with glitter is amusing.

TheBig3 08-13-2012 07:25 AM

there are sometimes where I wish I were still a Mod...because I would do unspeakable things to you.

someonecompletelyrandom 08-15-2012 04:02 PM

What has she been doing lately? I haven't listened to Top 40 radio or paid attention to who's a celebrity since last year. Has her glory faded yet?

Not really. You still hear a song now and again, but its not like Katy Perry who just flopped.

As long as she's not in it, I'm fine with that. Let her ride with me ;)

Caleb Hart 09-04-2012 12:30 AM

I recently left the Marine Corps Infantry. You would be surprised how many tough guys could sing every word to Kesha. Got to love her. lol

I don't know that I would. I think everyone just got on the "eww she's disease-ridden" bandwagon early. If you didn't like Tik Tok you don't have a soul.

TheBig3 12-15-2012 11:49 AM

Another reason I love her is that she's not afraid to drop a sick-ass Summer Jam in the middle of December. This refrain is a window-dropping jaaaaaam.

If you don't like this song, go **** yourself.

Goofle 12-15-2012 11:59 AM

It sucks balls...

(let's hope I am not the only person who has seen the picture)

TheBig3 12-15-2012 12:12 PM

What sucks balls?

Edit:

Last chance goofle

Goofle 12-15-2012 12:37 PM

Google it. I can't remember how to do spoilers.

TheBig3 12-15-2012 12:38 PM

Google what?

Goofle 12-15-2012 12:42 PM

"Kesha sucks balls" obviously.
