I haven't been keeping track of the unreleased recordings but he apparantly put them to one side and gave his permission to release them after his death and for the profits to go to his children. So, i expect they will be released. I seem to remember one or two have them have ended up on Youtube but I don't want to go and listen to them.

I'm just waiting for a really weak argument as to why thats not a good idea. Not necessarily here in this thread but it will happen. I'm just waiting for the first use of the term "sell out"....you know, for a dead guy.

It's like the people who say that about Jade Goody and the pictures she was selling, the interviews she was giving etc between the time she was diagnosed with cancer and the day she died. That tickles me every time. They focus on the constant media attention and the money being made rather than the fact that she manipulated the media's obsession with every little detail of her personal life to make a mountain of cash for her children that she left behind.

I hated hearing about her in the media, from the time she was in Big Brother onwards but good on her for that. Anyway, i'm waiting to hear the same things from these idiots about Michael Jacksons new recordings if and when they do get released.

right im not saying what Jade Goody did wasnt wrong in a sense, but if you had to be in the same situation wouldnt you want to see your children through life? i know that if i was diagnosed with it (touch wood you or I arn't) i think i would do the same if i was in the same media spotlight. it is wrong to manipulate the media like that, show her wedding on tv, every single aspect of her life on tv for that matter. but i know she wouldnt have done that if she never had kids. well i think, i dont know, because.. well i never knew her personally.
same for michael jackson, ive never had kids, but my mum & dad alway tell me n the siblings how much we mean to them. any parent could tell you their children are the most important things in life. im not getting on to you btw, im just saying in the situation wouldnt you do what you could for your kids?

No you have my post all wrong, i agree with pretty much everything you have just said.

My point was people were focusing on her seemingly selling the rights to everything that they personally didnt care about rather than realising that in my opinion she was actually smart enough to realise that the media care enough to sniff around for a story about every single aspect of her personal life and there was a whole load of cash to be made there in the final weeks and months of her life to probably set her children up for the entirety of theirs.

Thats ok :)

Probably shouldnt have said it "tickled me" as thats not entirely accurate, it suggests theres something funny about it which of course there isnt.

Why dont u read what was stated and then maybe you might understand the reason behind the post. A poster was stating basically that it was Michael Jackson's fault that he died when it wasn't. He was given a drug that should not have been given to him and he was not monitored properly thats all I said... of course its probably already been posted in this thread thats why I dont know why he would think it was MJ's fault which doesnt make sence but I just challenged it and stated my opinon which is something done on message boards.

I know what he was saying.

If you read what I said, maybe you would understand the reason behind the post.
