He can dance and recognise a good tune, but how many of you have listened to SIGN O THE TIMES? If you are serious music fans, you can see how good pop music can be.
I had Sign O The Tmes on my iTunes but I eventually deleted it which is something I rarely do.

Only so you could fit Love Beach on it.

Lol. I don't love ELP THAT much.

Deleting an album is something I do for only the very worst albums that end up stinking up my iTunes.

For example.

The Shaggs - Philosophy of the World
Rusty Cooley - Self titled
Symphony X - Divine Wings of Tragedy
Refused - Shape of Punk to Come
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Jesus & Mary Chain - Psycho Candy
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
Prince - Sign O' The Times

And some metalcore and GG Allin crap my brother put in there.

where do you get your info from? Quincy disliked "Billy Jean" and wanted it omitted from "Thriller". Him and MJ had disagreements and then Jones said "fine, but you gotta change the name" since he thought people would think about Billy Jean King the tennis player. MJ refused, then Quincy wanted to shorten the intro drum beat, MJ refused. MJ created that song pretty much all on his own and it became the biggest hit off the album. He also wrote much of his own material and there were plenty of great pop/r&b songs on "Dangerous" and some great moments on "HIStory". The team of Quincy and MJ was a great one but together they created the best selling album of all time, it wasn't Quincy making it all happen and MJ was just there for the ride.

Jackson would have been nothing without his songwriters. They wrote all his hits.

Well.... Except for Shake Your Body Down (To the Ground), Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Billie Jean, Beat It, Wanna Be Startin' Something, Bad, Smooth Criminal, Dirty Diana, Another Part of Me, Black or White and all those other songs nobody cares about.

This kind of producer / songwriter / co songwriter argument could whirl around in circles for months...lol... I guess the fact remains that Jackson had significant creativeinput to his most successful album and really should be credited as such...

if you look through the credits on his albums his name is involved more then it isn't when it comes to the song writing. MJ had a lot to do with his success and he even had a part in some of Quincy's success.

Thriller is a great album, and Beat It has been one of my favorite songs since like 5th grade.
