That's true, though. He IS the King of Pop and I know a lot of people who would die to see him in concert and have been hardcore fans forever. He's lucky he hasn't ended up like Gary Glitter at this point. That's a good example of how not to go about hanging out with kids.

I considered it but no I didnt get any. I used to love Michael Jackson's music and I think even Michael Jackson was the first artist I ever really got into. Before that I dont think I really cared and would just hear whatever I heard on the radio or saw on TV or whatever my sister was listening to at the time. Given I didnt start going to gigs until 2001 this may well be my one and only time to see someone who's music was that influentuial to me so I definitely considered it. Meh. I hope he will be good but it's just not gonna be the same, that ship has sailed now I think.
