What do you all think the 'Michael' album? I brought it last month and I think its really good. I'm new to this site, so I don't know if this questions already been asked I'm certain it has been, but I'm interested to know what people think of it.

Despite the lack of promotion and singles on Sony's part it still was a success. I was rather disappointed with SOME of the songs. This album is okay. The ONLY gem that I love on here is Much To Soon. Michaels vocals are flawless on that song. I also like I love the way you love me but I find the demo version to be better. Another Day is another good song. I use to didnt like Hollywood Tonight but it has grown on me now... Some of the songs on here are way over produced. Overall, my fav track by far is Much To Soon. |

I think Much Too Soon is great to. That’s actually a song he finished while he was alive. I hear the version on the album was recorded when he was doing the History album, but he actually first recorded that track when he was making the Thriller album. Do you think they should release anymore of his unreleased material? |

They are going to release more material...at least up to 5-7 more albums according to the Estate but who knows... if they plan on handling the albums like how they did "Michael" it doesnt seem likely or that they will put much effort into it. I think they will though but 7 albums might be exaggerating but then again who knows... I HOPE they do |

7 albums...WOW that's a lot. I wonder if they actually have enough material, but then knowing how Michael would record loads of songs for each album there must be loads of finished tracks he didn't release. I've heard some unreleased tracks that were finished and I think those are good, so lets wait and see. I mainly want to hear the finished stuff, but I think I'd be alright with hearing more tracks other people finished after he died. Interestingly I read the other day he was composing classical music and Jazz music before he died and with this guy called David Michael Frank and David said was it impressive stuff, but unfortunately it’s all unfinished. |
