Madonna herself said she never thought she was the greatest singer. She does know how to sell herself better than just about any female singer on the planet. That's why she's laughing all the way to the bank.

Rebel Heart is a much more solid effort than MDNA, which I still didn't think was that bad in the first place.

What she needs to do is have age-appropriate re-arrangement of her songs.

I like her, she's way past her prime now and is pretentious as hell but she makes good pop music.



I never understood why she never got the respect MJ got cause during her prime cause she was cranking hits that rivaled MJ's stuff.

I meant that MJ was widely recognised as the king of pop but Madonna never had such a title even though she was as good as him.

In terms of pop hit songs i always thought she was the only artist around that was just as good and as consistent as him but she never quite reached the status he did.

She is constantly referred to as the Queen Of Pop in Germany, not sure whether that title is internationally recognized.
