I just don't see anything wrong with this. Quite the contrary, it's a beautiful image of a beautiful person.

I hope none of this statement applies to me but w/e. Have you ever been to a nudist retreat? I'd love to go to one. I know it's not like how people fantasize it to be and the bodies are more about people in their late 40s to 50s so there is a lot of saggy skin but I don't even care.

No, but I've been to two different nude beaches several times.

...and no dj, I was talking about public reaction in general.

I think the public reaction to Mileys VMA's performance is very hyprotrical. The media is a very hyprocritical machine along with the general public. I feel that if they are going to make her an example, why not criticizing other female singers who do the same thing? There are female singers who have made careers off of being overly sexual and revealing on stage. Its amazing how its okay for there performances to be sexually charged but when Miley does it, its so appauling

This also reminds me of when the media bashed Janet Jackson at her Superbowl performance for a barely noticable breast but last years Superbowl was way more sexual charged than that but it got praised as the greatest thing ever! Yea the media is VERY hyprotical and full of bs.

The media has media darlings that can pretty much get away with anything and then they have media dumpsters that get ridiculed regardless of what they do. If they are going to make it a practice to bash performers for being overly sexual then they need to do it to EVERYBODY and not when they just want to pick on someone. I am not a fan but Miley seems to be the girl to bash at the moment because you cant honestly tell me that what this girl did is sooo uncommon from what most of the female pop performers have been doing for over the past decade. There are current singers that sell our arenas doing the same thing lol

Ummm no it did NOT get praised as the greatest thing ever. Only Beyonce fans thought that. She was getting so much hate for her performance and how people felt that it was too sexually charged for families that had their kids watching the Super Bowl.

The only time that people won't complain about a sexually charged performance is if it's some boring old time white rockers.

I respectfully disagree.

Maybe folks on the INTERNET had some criticism BUT Beyonce didnt get any criticism from the media. The next day ALL media outlets (news, gossip shows, talk shows, the view etc) was calling her halftime performance the best halftime performance of all time.I was dumbfounded by these comments being that it was the same old uninspiring performance that she always does (weave toss, booty shake, etc). I also thought it was hypocritical because Janet got alot of heat for her barely noticable breast while Beyonce can just hump the stage and dance provocatively and it gets called "art"... thats bs.

So are you saying Janets performance was more sexually charged than Beyonces? The media is very hyprocritical in who they choose to make examples out of. If they are not going to criticize ALL the pop performers that do the same thing Miley does than I really dont care what they have to say. You cant simply call out one person when there is a much bigger issue that applies to more than one person. The media has its own agenda and I dont feed into it.

Miley Cyrus is a troll, and I'm not shocked this forum feel for it hook, line, and sinker.
