No way, Videophone is ****. I like beyonce. I never expected her to bring a song out as bad as videophone. On the other hand, Telephone is awesome. It has a great ring to it.

I just listened to both songs without watching the videos and I still like Video Phone better. I don't usually go for Beyonce either.
I DO tend to really, really enjoy sexy radio hits, like Video Phone, Lollipop, or Best I've Ever Had. They're soothing and when I hear them (like you can keep from hearing them) I get my chill on.....

I don't feel like Video Phone fits in with the other two.
The other two can be played at a club.
If video phone was played, I wouldn't have as much fun.

I feel like the key all three songs are in are similar. But I probably grouped them together because they all kinda make me hard.

I like how she feeds Gaga in Telephone.
And Halo is a really beautiful song. I'm just not a fan of hers.

Her music bores the **** out of me
Me too, with most of her hits. ("Ring the Alarm" and "Sweet Dreams" are fairly good.) Also, her videos are oversexualized, even though as a person she doesn't seem very sexual.

I bumped this because today I watched Beyonce tell an interviewer that she might have been a psychologist if she weren't a singer. "She's clearly a well educated, intelligent, independent, and empathetic person." She's on a whole other plane from most pop hitmakers and outsings most of them, too. Beyonce clearly loves performing, but it bugs me that she seems uninterested in making the best music she can. (here it comes) The marriage to Jay-Z also is puzzling. Based on the music she likes and grew up with, I'm guessing she isn't a huge music fan and being a recording artist is secondary to her.

While I am not generally a much of a fan of hers, I can't stop listening to 'Love On Top' for the life of me. That song just oozes so much happy hopefulness, and it drills into my brain for HOURS.

Most of her other music really doesn't do it for me. It's alright for background noise, but not something I'll give a dedicated listen to.

I love that she decided to make four music videos before she got too far along in her pregnancy.

Finally, she made a video for my favorite song off of her last album

I love the parts with her black and white hat with all the different colored unitards especially near the end. I wish that shot was a tad bit longer.

She has a short preview for Love on Top which I didn't particularly like when I heard it on the album but it's slowly growing on me.

"Countdown" is the best song I've heard from the album so far. It sounds fresh and distinctive.
