Patton, I agree. I rooted for Alison from her Heart cover to her elimination. I agree that she had an excellent voice, but hey, shes a shoo-in for a record deal. Possiple mainstream success.

It was Adam's Led Zeppy cover that actually made me notice him as something other then the guy who dressed emo...

djchameleon, its SO fixed. And I think its the top 35 (?) or so that have to abide by Cowell's rules for like 6 years after Idol. They have to be PC so they don't screw up Idol's image.

I believe this also happened last year but they were reporting that the votes were being messed around with by AT&T and AI. Makes you wonder when the guy you expect to lose suddenly wins by a large number of votes.

Somebody I know had a theory that all of Dani's fans voted for Chris. That would make sense. They didn't say how many votes he won by, which was a bit suspicious...
Yeah, I think they eliminate them according to votes at first, then they keep around and eliminate people according to how much money they'll make the record company. Adam will do absolutly fine, which is probably why they think Kris needed the win. More marketable

Me too.

The "good" singers are boring, I want to see the train wrecks and Simon Cowell consume their souls and that's it.

Simon Cowell is just pure annoying.

And I wouldn't mind, but he's on EVERY one of them "Talent" search shows.

While I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I still go to my mother's house every Wednesday and Thursday to watch the show, I will say that I would absolutely marry this girl, Haley Reinhart:

She's made it to the Top Four now, and there's just something about her, and the edge in her voice...she's way more into jazz and that sort of thing, and I'd really like her to stick true to her roots and do something good after the show ends.

Did you guys hear that Lady Gaga is going to be on Idol next week to mentor the top 4? How do you think she will do?

Rigght? She is probably the most talented person i've ever seen on one of these shows When she sang LeAnne Rhymes "Blue".. it blew my freakin' mind. She has an amazing and unique talent.
