Default The Divine Comedy

After much deliberation I have come to the conclusion that The Divine Comedy are the quintessential British 'Pop band' despite the band being a primarily solo venture for Neil Hannon who just happens to be Irish!

The bridge between classic pop music structure, British whimsy and offbeat humour created one of our most distinctive bands. The more I listen to their music, the more I realise that music has a distinctive dual media role.

I hated this band the first time I heard them 10 years ago. I absolutely love them now.
