I only got into Alicia Keys a few months ago, but I find that her songs are so beautiful. And the piano in Butterflyz and If I Ain't Got You is so amazing...

Anyone out there loving Alicia?

i thought she would be a one hit wonder, but i guess i was wrong (even though i dont know any of her songs besides that fallin song). i saw her on leno or something like that, and she was like dancing and getting all into the choreography sh*t, that kinda surprised me. i always thought of her as this one-dimensional piano/gospel-like singer. but, yeah not bad. not bad at all

i love her song with usher called my boo, that has to be the maddest song out there...apart from usher's confessions part 1

I love the song 'fallin'

her song if i aint got you is so good as well.. and she writes and plays teh music which is so great

the only thing i like about her is that she has female parts

I'm gonna revive an ancient thread. I've never really been a big fan and still am not, but I've been thinking a little more lately about her music and I must admit I really like some of her songs.

I've always been a fan. She can play the keys well, can belt a ballad, and shes easy on the eyes. I even like the video friendly songs she does, and she actually writes some great lyrics also for an rnb balladeer.

Alicia Keys can play the piano in a stage-friendly way (which is probably why she gets invited to play in many televised concerts), and she has a good voice. However, I find most of her songs lack real feeling in the same way that most of Whitney Houston's did.

This is what "**** Yes" sounds like.

There was a drunken girl at a bar I used to work at once. She pointed at me and yelled "IT'S ALICIA KEYS!!!!" Then I gave her a weird look. She looked closer and realised she was mistaken. "Oh, sorry.."

I died laughing and cringing at the same time.

I never used to like her voice but i've found myself liking her songs more and more as time has gone on!

Songs in A minor is still one of my most listened to albums on my ipod
