I'm not gonna diss Gaga as a person because I don't know her and I'm not gonna diss her music because I don't listen to it.
But if she wants to be taken seriously (which she states time and time again) then perhaps she shouldn't make outrageous costumes her selling point.
She's already being compared to David Bowie. But obviously because of the image, not the actual music. And even when guys like David Bowie and Peter Gabriel dressed up in crazy outfits it was out of genuine theatricality, because they were playing characters and there was actual symbolism and relation to the music, it's like watching a musical.
With Gaga it looks like she picks crazy stuff at random, whatever draws the most attention. She acts like she is a contestent for Let's Make a Deal, ALL THE TIME.
I'd still hit it though.
