Aww Sugar, parts of "Pokerface" and "Just Dance" have been lifted almost verbatim out of 80's and 90's pop "disco" songs. I spent like an hour trying to locate the original songs that I believe she stole from but couldn't. I played it for my family and they said they heard the songs before too. If I ever do figure out the songs I will let you know. So, it's either A)the song she is copying from is in her subconcious and she doesn't realize that she is copying it. B) she knows that she is a fake or C)is paying someone royalties for drudging up and using their old songs.

And hows that any different to the whole 80s retro thing that seems to be going on in dance, electronica & indie at the moment?
