God yes. I love her music, but the woman is a gigantic narcissist. The whole meditation thing just makes it look like she's trying to be Madonna all over again. It was pretentious and ludicrous when Madonna went all Kabbalah, but at least her pretentiousness was somehow her own. Gaga just comes across as a...I guess "poseur" is the only good word. I'll still listen to her new album though, and probably love it.

Yeah I've heard one of the leaks of the song she did with Zedd. I'm pretty excited about it, it sounds good.

Meh, it's just performance art. It's one of those things were you either pretend like you understand what's going on or it's just a big WTF and you are confused by it.

At the MOMA they have exhibits like that from time to time. Tilda Swinton was in one recently where she just laid in bed behind a glass case for hours!

The only reason I feel like it's going to flop because I heard her saying to little monsters not to pay attention to the critics and listen to it for themselves also she said something about if you don't listen to this album with headphones on then you are doing yourself a mis-justice. You need to hear it with headphones, laptop speakers won't cut it.

I always think she's trying too hard anyway, though. She's out there but in a way that doesn't seem genuine to me sometimes.
Thats because it isnt.

She tries hard for attention not because she is "geniunely different" or prolific as an artist.

I think I would like her alot more if she would stop trying to "out do" Madonna. Its impossible to out do someone who has done it all already lol

I never was a Lady Gaga fan and never got her "appeal". But then again most of the pop female singers out now I dont particular care for because their boring, not real artists and are to formulaic.

Everything she does is contrived. She has some catchy songs but I would never buy any of her albums or pay to see her in concert.

I've downloaded her song Applause and I absolutely love it! I've listened to it nearly 20 times.

I think "Applause" sounds very David Bowie!

I just heard it this morning and it is definitely catchy. She seems to have let go of her Born This Way days and retraced her steps back to something a bit more relatable. I'm happy with that!

I don't know. She built such a cult of personality in her first couple years that she's managed to somehow stay relevant even with a sophomore album flop that would normally sink anyone else's career. So long as she has that name recognition, puts out a good album, and chooses the right songs, I don't see why she can't stage a comeback. This is definitely make-or-break for her though.

And I just listened to "Applause". Fantastic. As infectious and fun a single as she needs to make right now.

I've listened to Applause 41 times and I still haven't had enough!
