Well, Lady Gaga is one of my favorite singer and I always prefer to listen her album but among the three I mostly prefer to listen The Fame. This album has awesome tracks.

I personally like Lady Gaga. Her songs are catchy as hell and I totally respect the fact that she writes her own music and doesn't just do what the producer tells her. I also respect the way she's committed to individuality and not trying to fit in or being ashamed of who you are. We need more artists nowadays that encourage you to not follow the crowd and embrace being different. I simply do not get all of the hate she receives. I think people just do it to be cool.

I mean, she has been a bit over the top in some cases. I don't know what degree of "hate" you're referring to, but I think some of it is justified.

I think the music video for Telephone (AWESOME EFFING SONG), was a complete disaster, simply because it was all over the place.

On the other hand, I loved EVERYTHING she did prior to the release of that music video.

Why is that poll closed, by the way? Can we pop that top again?

There are some people who honestly don't like her music, and that's cool. I can respect other opinions, even if I disagree with them. The people I hate are the bandwagon haters, the ones who try to be cool. These are the people on YouTube, for instance, that post a comment on a video that's completely unrelated to Lady Gaga about how much they hate her. For example, on a Nirvana video, you might see a comment that says something like "God, if we give you Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, can you give us back Kurt Cobain?"

That is definitely not a fair trade.

I do not really know if she will stand the test of time. Thirty years from now will she still be getting played?

Does anyone think Lady Gaga is trying to hard?

I'm no art expert but WTF! I realise her new album is coming out but I get the feeling it's going to flop. She really over does it sometimes. I have enjoyed all the the work she's previously done but this is too much for me.

I thought she was just doing this for a friend and not for herself!

I always think she's trying too hard anyway, though. She's out there but in a way that doesn't seem genuine to me sometimes.

I really want her album to be good, I've really enjoyed everything so far. She does take things too far but that's her in a nutshell.
