it actually sounds very modern. the production is great, but tune itself is boring as f@£$%^&ck. Popular because of Gaga's original image and videos and because people like boring shizzzz. The musical knowledge of typical office worker or builder is equal with knowledge of my 7 years old sister so they both like it. Me personally I can not stand it. Makes me wanna vomit.

The song is as good as it is, because of RedOne. He's a miracle worker and literally everything he touches turns to gold lol

I love Lady Gaga and RedOne...they both inspire me and give me something to reach for as an independent artist myself.

Lady GaGa - Just Dance

You've likely heard this somewhere before so I'll cut to the chase. This sound comes across as a throwback to that terrible club **** they had on in the early 90's. The major difference here is that Lady Gaga seems to have a tounge-in-cheek approach, knowing how foolish the club life can be, and knowing to put actual lyrics in here rather than stopping at a rough sketch of a plot like the early club music had at the dawn of the 90's.

At the days end its a pop song. And its not your indie-acceptible pop either, this is unabashed materialistic pop. But its ****ing good. Maybe its because of the nostaligia, but I embraced this song with an expansive wingspan.

I... Do not like Gaga. Shame she has to sell her body so much when she has a talent that is perfectly capable of getting her to the top.

I don't understand why everyone is saying Lady Gaga is selling her body.
She's expressing herself (or something) but I don't think she's selling her body at all.

I never hear anyone say "I don't like her voice, but I'm going to buy Gaga's album because she's ****ing hot!"
Or "Wow, look at her body, I want to hear her music!"

People who talk about her body, in my experience, have already been a fan of her music. They think she's hot. Often, these people are gay men.

MOST often, I hear people saying they think she's weird or hard to understand or annoying in the way she dresses and acts, so IF SHE IS "selling her body" I don't think it's working, but I haven't seen a time where I thought she was.

I guess it depends what people mean when they say that. I could understand someone whose opinion was that she uses her appearance to make money.
