Lately she seems to just be hamming up the gay right stuff. I wouldn't mind it if America was Iowa, but its not. Unless you're in some small, rural backwater, being a homosexual in America isn't nearly as oppressive as she'd like to pretend it is.
Additionally, the whole "I'm wearing a meat suit look at me" **** is ****ing miserable. I'll be frank here, this is why I listen to aging singer/song writers like Mark Knopfler and younger sparse guys like Langhorne because I don't end up having to defend their ridiculous antics for attention.

What do you think about that some of her songs are now on the list of banned songs in china?
I think it is bull**** to bann it. Maybe you should censor it but not bann.. There are more songs from other stars that are on the list. Just read about it here language-culture-translation.blogspot.com/2011/09/list-of-100-banned-songs-chinese.html]The Translation of Language & Culture: A list of 100 banned songs – the Chinese censorship |

I have to agree about the part about the meat dress being desperate. I have a feeling she's definitely losing some of her fan base as of late. I still think Hair should have been a proper single. Last edited by Consolator; 09-05-2011 at 03:47 AM. |

She'd rather be rolling in dough. Don't blame her, blame the millions of people who just want shallow pop music. The American public's standards for art/music/movies is so low it's embarrassing. This also reflects on our diets as well. We have the ability to prepare healthy and tasty meals ourselves, but we would rather shovel horrible, pre-made food into our hole of a mouth because we just don't care anymore. People don't appreciate art itself anymore, just give us a rock that's painted gold and we'll be more than happy.

I agree. I didn't intend to ruffle any feathers or anything, I just think there's a fascinatingly large disparity there. I mean, from a duet with Tony Bennett to some... country (?) song. Bizarre. I'm also curious as to what the umlaut signifies. If I had to guess, it'd be nothing.
