I wouldn't say you're a blind fan, just an over-trusty consumer. I mean, not only has she not stepped out of her own mold, she barely stepped out of the Madonna mold created 30 years ago. Throw in a bit more violence, some GWARish stage props, there you have it.
There are million and MILLIONS of musicians out there that would kill to have even one second of the exposure she gets 24/7. If she can't even effectively utilise this insane nightmarish stretch of over-hype, and over-attention to come up with something effectively unique, or interesting by now... Well, kind of makes me feel bad for the musicians who actually could.

I think it's a bit harder to change your sound when you have billions of fans expecting the same stuff you've been putting out. You risk a big chunk of your fanbase leaving you for some other pop act because you decide to drastically alter your sound. It's a sad truth, but it does make me a bit sick when people expect a certain thing of a musician, it's wrong. I want to listen to music that the artist wants to make, not music that the artist is using to generate an income. I wish people were a little more forgiving when it comes to pop acts, they make fun of them, they leave them when they don't like a change in sound or lack of change. These people are trying to please you all, and eventually they fall out of the public eye or get spat on till they're forgotten. |

The Lady Gage Presents special has been on HBO (her performance at Madison Square Garden). I'll say that I'm pretty impressed with the amount of work she puts into it (and her crew or whatever). Very elaborate stage props and scenes and a ton of choregraphed dancing, I was pretty impressed with how good she sounded too.

Does Gaga call them "little monsters" because of the movie "Party Monster?" I wonder if there is a connection.

Yes, the producer need some props for picking the right cameras that were showcasing her ass from time to time.
