Does she have to think about every single country in regards to her music? She writes how she feels.

And it's not like she controls the airplay of the countries that puts on her music. Is she supposed to write every single politically correct lyric in her song just because some countries don't allow it?

I find it interesting that people are so quick to criticize Gaga for not "respecting" some country's pseudo-theocratic government "values", when those same pseudo-theocratic governments won't even respect the individual liberties of their own citizens. "Homosexual acts" are criminal offenses in Malaysia. You call it a disgrace on Gaga, I call it a disgrace on Malaysia. I think the whole censorship controversy is one of the reasons why she wanted to write Born This Way. If being "culturally insensitive" is a reason you want to bash her, fine. I think there are far better reasons to criticize her, but whatever floats your boat.

Wrong, she doesn't write how she feels. She writes whatever will jive with market formula. As mentioned before, she shifted her entire sound at the drop of a dime to make a buck. She writes to appeal to gays because they will ensure her financial stability. That is the sole reason.

Excuse me? Are you a homophobic too? That's what you're implying as her lyrics were banned there due to the pro-gay content. If you think about it, the majority of her fan base is gay and she is a spokesperson for gay rights. Like she's really going to write anti-gay lyrics for countries who still don't approve of the gay culture.

I'm not a homophoic. I don't know where you get that from. The lyrics were banned over in Malaysia because they don't accept gay people, surely their views should be respected, that's all I'm saying. The majority of her fan base are not gay. Where do you get that from?

She's catering for the mainstream mass, look at her chart success. Far more than a gay audience are buying her music. That's a load of bull **** what you posted there. So what if she's spokesperson for gay rights? She is the spokesperson because it looks good, it gives her a good image, that's all.
