Since the last thread was deleted, and I want to talk about the video below...
Lady GaGa - Just Dance You've likely heard this somewhere before so I'll cut to the chase. This sound comes across as a throwback to that terrible club **** they had on in the early 90's. The major difference here is that Lady Gaga seems to have a tounge-in-cheek approach, knowing how foolish the club life can be, and knowing to put actual lyrics in here rather than stopping at a rough sketch of a plot like the early club music had at the dawn of the 90's. At the days end its a pop song. And its not your indie-acceptible pop either, this is unabashed materialistic pop. But its ****ing good. Maybe its because of the nostaligia, but I embraced this song with an expansive wingspan.
