She'd still be stalked whatever she wore, you know that.

Apparently she threw a fit, and then stripped down. |

All I'm saying is, if you're going to be hounded no matter what you do... you may as well look the least moronic while it's happening.. because otherwise, it isn't doing anything but making the whole situation worse and creating more attention. At least if the media didn't expect you to be news-worthy while in public, they might eventually get bored. |

If I tried dressing like that in public I don't think that would be a very effective excuse. |

Also, why would someone want to look like everyone else, anyway? Conformity as a goal? Yuck. I think people who are afraid to be different dislike those who aren't afraid, because others' boldness makes them face the unpleasant truth of their own fear. And if they dislike feeling distracted by someone's appearance, then they should blame their own lack of attention control rather than blame the person they can't keep their eyes off of. I like that Lady Gaga is bold, sometimes humorously so. Also, Freebase, I'd think you'd be immune to seeing flashes of flesh, given that you've got Mardi Gras and all those goings-on down there. Ha ha! Agreed, Tumor! (Although I wouldn't want anyone cussing someone out. I don't mind people being nearly nude, though. I just want them to have something on their tush when they sit down, so that fecal matter doesn't get on surfaces.)

I honestly don't get why people compare her to Madonna either. Aside from their strong female empowerment philosophies, homocentricity and generous doses of ego, their music and work has little in common.

Saying that, I started playing around with a few of Lady Gaga's songs, putting them onto piano, changing the style/mood, generally just mucking around with it (yes, I'm aware I have too much time on my hands) and since actually looking at her music properly, I've got to say my respect for the woman as an artist has gone up...
