If I had to choose one I would go with Enya. But Florence Welch, Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush, Alanis Morissette, Carole King and Tori Amos would all be favourites.

Hmm, since this is in the "Pop" forum, my number one choice would be Judy Collins, although she's more in the folk tradition. Petula Clark is right up there, too. As for most "modern" pop singers, a hard pass from me.
