If we're just talking about singing I have a long list, two that come to mind are Karin Bergquist of Over The Rhine and Amanda Barrett of The Ditty Bops. There are many many more and I'll post them as I think of them

But if we're talking about who is in my mind the greatest woman in music, I only need one name, without any question whatsoever. Joni Mitchell. Period.

I like a lot of "Tidal", didn't care for much after that EXCEPT her absolutely GORGEOUS version of "Across The Universe", I think John would've loved it.
