I like Taylor Swift's vocals. They're not technically as "good" but it sounds distinctively pretty once produced properly.
What? Taylor Swifts vocals? I cant think of anyone who deserves to be in this thread less than her. Short of roseanne bar performing the national anthem.

I agree. I love the song "Edge of Seventeen". BTW, the actual spelling of her name is Stevie Nicks, and her real name is Stephanie Lynn.

Go make her salary and get back to me.

She's pretty much made her name seared in your head with her angelic voice. Once it's produced, she sounds good as bloody ****. Live she can't sing to save her life. Produced, she's one of the best vocalists, like Britney Spears.

Go on. Say something about Britney's vocal stylings. She carries the killer beat like nobody else in the biz.
Lol are you trolling? Or are you being serious here? I've heard better vocals at the local pub and grub around the corner here by rednecks on karaoke night. Yes her voice is seared in my head but its not because of its "anjelic" style. Its because radio crams it down the throat of everyone around here. Also what does making her salary have to do with her being able to sing? She appeals to feeble minded heart sick teenagers for the most part. I've got socks that have more life experiences than the majority of her fan base. Cheezy lyrics and wankerish guitar playing is in every song that I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. You said it yourself "Live" she cant sing to save her life so how does that make her a top female vocalist? I've heard better vocals from Pink covering a Janis Joplin tune and I dont even really like her but respect her ability as a singer.

Note just her a mic and guitar.

Lauryn Hill's voice really does something powerful for me (when she sings). She just has this... certain touch I can't really put my finger on. A bit of a grainy soul voice? She's a guilty pleasure to be honest.

wtf...I scanned through this whole thread and didn't see one mention of Tori Amos. Please tell me I'm wrong. Definitely one of the greatest female artists of all time.
