I didn't remember the thread, and I never posted in it. But now....
Shania Twain, followed by Amy Grant. I think Grant's voice is prettier, but Shania's is stronger. I think too many female pop vocalists sound masculine. |

I'm not going to say that Marie Fredriksson (Roxette) is my favorite female singer, as her voice isn't as feminine as I like, but I think she deserves special credit for her mix of power and authentic-sounding emotion. Marie Fredriksson: Best Female Singer of All Time |
