Is this hip hop if they are on an emo/indie label?

Hey guys, just wondering what you think about this. Gym Class Heroes are I guess a type of hip hop, with a full band. But they are on an indie label with all emo bands like fall out boy and stuff.. Are they hip hop or emo?
either way its a great song and pretty cool video. let me know your opinion.

I would say that they are a Pop band with a few influences that don't really amount to anything.

Alternative hip hop sounds like a good label for them. Or maybe emo rap?

I've heard them reffered to as indie-rap in many places, so that's what I would go with. i love 'em though, and am probably ty one on MB who does.

I call them Indie-Rap.

Been listening to them since around 2004/2005
