Btw, Hi im Tommy Im in a couple of bands The JSBs - an electronica duo bent on classic pop and rock 'n' roll Fire in Cairo - a post-punk extravaganza I don't think this site really works for me, as I mainly listen to my music on CD and only really listen to works in process of either of the aforementioned bands. |

You can pick up on auto tune on music (especially pop music, but in a lot of other genres as well) when their voice picks up an electronic robot sound. The pitch changes slightly as well (to accomodate for the actually pitch shift..) Alot of artists use auto tune as an effect, and will drench their vocals in it. Mostly in an R&B dance club track. (Chris Brown comes into mind.) It's something that alot of people can't pick up on, but if you study it, it comes out immediatly.
