But I actually 'do' like the music. I never said it was all I listened too or my absolute favourite but I do like it.

And when I said image, I'm referring to not being the Lindsay Lohans, Amy Winehouse's of the world that are pathetic and bad.

You guys jumped the gun a little bit in my opinion though.

Now, about Amy Winehouse. Her public image is terrible. She does alot of drugs, is a general mess, and certainly isn't a role model to "young girls"... however, she IS a credible songwriter, having written her first album Frank, and most of Back to Black. And that woman can SING. I can only pick up autotune once on BtB.... And have heard her live, and it's insane.

I would listen to Amy over Hilary any day.

It's pretty terrible that she is so pinned out on drugs now.

I guess that's where I mean I would take image over music though.

Hilary has the 'good' image therefore I like her right off the bat and I don't mind the music.

Winehouse might have a voice but like you said, her image is terrible and that doesn't do it for me.
