Songwriting? She doesn't write her own songs as far as I know, it's just generic pop being pumped out by money making songwriters.

I disagree with people who knock her voice. She's no Whitney Houston but I've heard her live a few times now and always thought her voice sounds good and sounds unique. She sand Firework and did a mashup of a few other songs the other night for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and she sounded great. So maybe it's just difference in opinion, but I don't understand the hate on her voice.

Katy Perry Is getting pretty popular. I dont know if i like that song "i kissed a girl" but i do like "teenage dream" and "firework".

"I kissed a Girl" is probably her best song, like some of her music but not my favourite artist. Don't think she's different, pretty standard and similar to a lot of other artists out there in the pop music industry. Sexy no doubt but I think she has a tendency to shout in some of her videos. "Firework" is probably her worse song to date, still having nigtmares over her X Factor performance.

Are you talking about her voice in videos or her voice live?

I've seen people hate on both especially the latter.

The only song I truly enjoy and have by her is E.T. The original, though, because Kanye's parts in the radio version is ****ing awful.
