I would like to know what you think of them.
I personly like them to hell. They are awesome. I love the video for Alive with the Glory of Love and Wow (I can sexual too).
I would now like to know if you like them, or hate them. And why is that so.

Not alternative, anyway ...Is a Real Boy was an okay album despite it getting tiring the last one was pretty meh. Max Bemis is a complete douchebag too.

...Is a Real Boy is one of my favourite albums ever. The rest of their material is pretty poor.

havent ever really sat down and listened to these guys... the one song that i heard i wasnt too impressed with but i am willing to listen to their full albums and then i will be able to make a better opinion of them :)

I'm certain being terrible is just a huge part of Say Anything's appeal.

Are you talking about "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too"? That is a highlight off of ...Is a Real Boy [Bonus CD], along with "Belt", "Alive with the Glory of Love", "Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat", "An Orgy of Critics", "Admit It!!!", and "Total Revenge". It is a very good album.

Is a Real Boy is the only thing I've ever given a chance but it's naked dancing in your bedroom fun.

Yeah I really loved WOW too. Simply great!

Admit It!!! is an amazing song. I love them, but that's my favorite.

I love most of their songs

They were supposed to headline a festival I went to this year. It rained after the only good band played. Thank God. I hear enough of this shit when my girlfriend thinks her music is for everyone.

Wow I can get sexual too is an awesome song, and so is Alive with the glory of love, but for those that don't give that much of a chance to them, or that have only listened to ...is a real boy, try listening to In Defense of the Genre. It's an awesome album. The first 14 songs are mellow, and something that I think is for easy listening, and the secong album is something more rock and loud, and hard core.
A song that I like on the first album is Skinny mean man, and on the second disk, well it's a tie between About Falling and Sorry young tutor you have outgrown me.

This stuff is for car rides and lip-synching videos... when I wanna listen to music for the music, this isn't really my first choice. Or second or third for that matter. =|

skinny, mean man is the best on in defense but on is a real boy i'd have to go with "woe" or "every man has a molly"

I haven't had a chance to listen to In Defense yet, but for me, ...Is a Real Boy was very hit or miss. I like the band in general, but I only enjoyed about half of the songs on the album. I tried very hard to listen to the other half of the songs to see if they had more of a "grow on me" factor, but unfortunately I just didn't find anything interesting about them.

For instance, I find that [Woe, Alive With the Glory of Love, Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat, The Futile, and Every Man Has a Molly] are great, catchy songs. Unfortunately I can barely listen to the rest of the CD. I have to say, "Admit It!!!" is just ridiculous pseudo intellectual garble, but it was amusing the one time I happened to see them live to watch groups of people cheering on a song in which he was blatantly making fun of them. The chorus is fairly catchy as well.

Those were my impressions of the band.. I did spend a lot of time with "...Is a Real Boy" and gave it more than enough chances. The songs I liked, I loved, and the songs I didn't like, I hated. I guess that's why I haven't bothered to pick up the new album.

its that in defense was trying to convey more of a message when ...is a real boy was just fun music mostly...both are great though

They are really good. My 2 favourites are also Alive With The Glory Of Love, and WOW. I also think that those are there 2 most well known. I dislike there song about eating little girls for breakfast or whatever....

I listend to the bonus track on Was a Real Boy only once and I would have to say that my favorite one song on that c.d. is I will never write an obligatory song about being on the road and missing someone.

Way out of my comfort zone. Something I was forced to listen to, and I remember one song catching my attention 'Alive With The Glory Of Love'. This is written from the perspective of a a Jewish couple in Europe during WWII which leads me to believe at least maybe the lead singer has a few interesting thoughts to provoke.
