adam for sure. but his post punk stuff is where its at!

and Bow Wow Wow's first album is a goody. it's a shame Mclaren took the band from adam. would have liked ot have seen where it would have gone.

Always had a soft spot for Japan and Sylvian had a touch of the Bryan Ferry's about him.
Love this record;

Thats a great song.

I only have Gentlemen Take Polaroids by them. I've been trying to find some of their early stuff when they were more Bowie/ New York Dolls influenced.

Yeah, they were another one of those bands that got sucked into a genre. They always stood out from the rest of the New Romantics.

Edit: Have you heard the Dalis Car album with Peter Murphy and Mick Karn?

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-06-2008 05:08 PM

Same thing with the Human League.
Their first 2 albums practically invented synth pop.

Then they split up & got those 2 girls in the band.

Dalis Car - 'His Box' from the Waking Hour album.
Karn was a brilliant and under rated bassist.
Shame him and Murphy didn't do more.

I've seen the name around several times before but didn't know who was involved or what they sounded like.

That's not bad I might have to look further.
