Gaga > Taylor Swift in a minimum of 10,000 ways.

BUT. Yes. Adele isn't awful. This chick from American Idol who was on my "TOP 10 I MUST BONE" list did justice to "Rolling In the Deep".

I'm not normally a fan of Adele, but I really enjoyed her performance at the iTunes Festival.

She has sincere lyrics and a strong voice. But maybe it's also her weight that is making her popular - the fat, lovelorn girls might feel a connection with her. I'd like to see a poll on whether she should lose weight

I don't think when I see Adele, "Oh she's overweight, I have weight issues. I can relate to you. I like you now." Doesn't work like that...

It is a shame that so many artists in the pop industry and judged on their weight and appearance, the girl can sing. Give her a break!

"Adele is so fat, her blood type is Ragu"

"So fat," not just overweight. It seems like some people are celebrating her for being unhealthy. (I'm sure there's concert footage that indicates whether or not her fans tend to be chunky.) Nobody celebrated Amy Winehouse for being a druggie. Look where that got her. Adele, who doesn't have middle age or something else as an excuse, is a bad role model.

Oh, and bottom line is that musically her songs are mediocre and lyrically are too focused on heartbreak.
