As I sit here and listen to Adele sing the new "Bond " theme song it has become apparent that she has indeed arrived. So commercially acceptable that she joins the long and illustrious list of past performers who have sung a Bond song! She has a lot of talent.

Speechless.
Why that's impressive!

Default Adele

I like the way she does the theme song to Skyfall. Very soulful, yet restrained. She reminds me a bit of Dusty Springfield, but with a bigger voice. I could see her doing some of the classic jazz ballads, not sure if she ever has or not.

I agree, I think she's ****. Stumbled across the Coldplay formula imo.

Saying that, that's some achievement in this era of illegal downloading to have the 4th highest selling British album of all time. I still can't believe that, I keep thinking they've counted the sales wrong

Fair play to her

Yes she has gotten overexposed but I think she is refreshing in a pop word that overly exposes sexual explicit pop singers instead of their talent. Adele was what the pop industry needed. Its nice to see a female pop star be admire because of her voice and music instead of because of her looks, marketing and product. Overrated or not, her success is deserved.
