MCR: Another mediocre band for equally mediocre people who suck from the tits of Spin, Rolling Stone and radio. Good f'n grief.
Normally I wouldn't really give a sh1t about this kind of thread, but it sure is annoying when people praise the hell out of something thats supported by bull**** labels like Reprise Records. I mean, instead of wasting your money on two-bit swill like MCR and Good Charlotte, why not use that cash to go support the talented bands buried underground who actually deserve support and recognition? So strange...

Funny comment though. Maybe this concept is a bit too tough for you to get, but anyone whose musical taste has reached the point where they can appreciate any genre to a rather high degree has the right to judge on whether or not an artist is worth listening to or not. Only through seeking out music instead of having **** force-fed to you on the radio or while shopping at Wal-Mart can one expand their own horizons to the point where their opinion has some weight behind it. But, I suppose the distinction between an opinion one pulls out of their ass and an opinion one puts forth after extended listening experiences with the subject group over a period of time is lost on you. Oh well.. Nice try though!

Maybe it would be a bit more compelling if hearing anything simultaneously boistrous and lyrically self-concious was somehow unique in mainstream music today. MCR, unfortunately, don't even manage to excell in something that generic. Not to mention the fact they sound like **** live, which is a sin in and of itself. But oh well. It could be worse: you could be listening to Simple Plan or Fall Out Boy instead. THANK GOD FOR MCR!!!!!!!!111 Whatever, your taste is music is cool anyway FaSho. No need to take any of what I say personally. :P
