A lot of music today is cross over due to the commercial factor. There's hundreds of music genres out there... all those sub-genres, wtf?! Music is full of people's opinions. Someone may think MCR arn't emo (personally, i couldn't give a **** if they are or not) and others will think they are. I'd probably go with the cross over idea. And due to the fact they've just broke mainstream, they're going a pop/rock route, no?
